By using scotiatechnology.com or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or services.

Our services

We provide web development and digital marketing services as described on this site and in any proposal or statement of work we agree with you. Specific deliverables, timelines and fees are set out in that agreement.

Quotes, fees & payment

• Prices shown on the site are indicative starting points; your quote is confirmed in writing.
• Advertising budgets paid to platforms (e.g. Google, Meta) are separate from our management fees.
• Invoices are due as stated on the invoice. Late payment may pause active work.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide timely content, access and approvals, to ensure materials you supply do not infringe others’ rights, and to comply with the advertising policies of any platform we run campaigns on.

Intellectual property

Once fully paid, you own the final deliverables we create for you, except third-party or open-source components and our pre-existing tools, which remain owned by their respective owners and licensed to you as needed.

Third-party services

Our services may rely on third-party platforms. We are not responsible for their availability, changes or policies, and their use is subject to their own terms.

Disclaimers

We deliver our services with reasonable skill and care but cannot guarantee specific rankings, traffic, leads or revenue, as results depend on many factors outside our control. The site and services are provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the services is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Termination

Either party may end ongoing services with the notice stated in your agreement. Fees for work already performed remain payable.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Scotia Technology operates. Insert your governing law and courts here before publishing.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
